Hearing Aid Evaluations:
We have state of the art testing equipment. An electronic audiometric threshold test and speech discrimination test will be performed. The specialist will review your audiogram and explain your test results.
Why get your hearing tested?
There are a few very important reasons that you should have your hearing tested at least once a year. First, if you do not have a hearing loss it is still good to have a baseline recording on file for reference. Second, if you currently have a hearing loss you should have your hearing retested annually to monitor any changes and adjust your hearing aids accordingly. Your service will be FREE for hearing tests at Lifestyle Hearing.

Video Otoscopic Ear Inspection:
This will allow you to see your ear canal projected on a TV screen. This may be helpful in detecting such things as perforations of the eardrum, fluid accumulation or excessive earwax, which will be referred to a medical professional for treatment and diagnosis.
Ear wax in the ear canal is normal and will not cause a problem unless it either builds up preventing the sound from reaching the eardrum, or it is very fluid and gets inside the hearing instrument. It is best to let a professional look inside your ear regularly to monitor any excessive wax build up. At Lifestyle Hearing, we use a video otoscope to look inside the ear. If a build up is noticed, we will discuss the options available to you. Again, this is a service offered FREE to the public.

We offer a wide selection of the latest digital technology from all major hearing aid manufacturers. Hearing aid styles include the new Open Fit hearing aids. We will work with you to find the best solution for your hearing healthcare needs within your budget.

Hearing Aid Service and Repair:
Service is at the heart of everything that we do at Lifestyle Hearing. All of our services are available to the public even if you didn't purchase your hearing aid from our office. Our office is equipped to service and repair all brands of hearing instruments. We encourage ongoing cleaning and maintenance of your hearing aids to ensure you receive optimum performance and benefit from them. Hearing aids should be professionally cleaned at least three times a year for as long as you own them. Even though they may look clean to you, tiny debris particles will form on the electronic parts and can cause problems if left untreated. At Lifestyle Hearing we have the special equipment necessary to do this maintenance.

Custom Made Ear Molds
Our services are not only for people who have hearing problems. Lifestyle Hearing offers custom made hearing protection products for musicians, hunters, people who work in noisy environments, and may more. In addition, custom made in-the-ear monitors are available to musicians, custom fit earpieces for hands free Bluetooth cell phone operation as well as custom made swim molds.
